Try Again
Well we have now hit the point that Kevin is getting "smart" with us. The other day Matt was playing with Kevin and it was time to clean up the markers. Well......Kevin didn't really feel like cleaning them up. Sooooo....When Matt told Kevin to "pick up the marker", Kevin responded with "No Daddy, try again", as if he were telling Matt to choose another option for him. I am laughing out loud just thinking about it!

February Came and Went.
Kevin Wearing his cousin's Birthday present.
Well February came and went and I didn't post a thing. Life is going along smoothly and we are all doing great. Kevin is now officially the best big brother in the world. He loves his brother and is such a big help with him. When Max is crying he will either tell us about it or he will try to give him his pacifier. Sometimes he will even share his "rag" with Max. ( Only for a minute or two until he takes it back.)
As for Max.....He may just be the happiest baby around. He is so alert and so full of love. He loves to smile and he he is beginning to laugh. All he needs is for someone to talk to him and he gets the biggest smile I have ever seen on his face. Sometimes I think his face may hurt from how big his smile is.
We are truly lucky people to have two such wonderful little boys in our life. It is starting to become hard to remember what life was like before them.

Max is 4 weeks old!
Max is 4 weeks old today which is unbelievable. It has gone so fast. We are all pretty much adjusted to life now and we are figuring out (or at least trying to) what Max likes and doesn't like. One thing that we know for sure is that he LOVES to be held. I think we may have a cuddle bug on our hands. (Unlike his brother) He seems to be falling into a little schedule which makes mommy happy. He is awake much more now during the day and is very alert. His fussy time is from about 4pm-8pm which we think may be because between those hours he gets poked a lot by Mr. Kevin. Kevin does love his brother and is very concerned when he cries and always tries to give him his "fire"(pacifier).
Speaking of Kevin...I think he is very ready for his birthday. He is always singing "Happy Dirt-Day" to everyone and everything. In fact the other night he put one of the stop signs from his train set on Bean's head and sang "Happy Dirt-Day" to her. She wasn't amused though she did leave the sign on her head for the whole song. Bean is such a trooper!

Uncle Ted #2
Well uncle Ted would be so proud of Kevin! Last night when Kevin got home from daycare he was looking at Max saying "Max poopie". Then he was telling me to change Max's diaper. I had to tell Kevin several times that Max did not poop. Then he began saying "daddy poopie". (And Matt was in the bathroom) He went back and forth between Max and Matt for a few minutes insisting that one of them had pooped. Well come to find out......Kevin was the actual one who had pooped and he was trying to blame it on his brother and his father. What a character!

Hold it! Burp it!
Well Kevin just loves his brother. He is now able to hold Max. With plenty of pillows and us right beside him of course! He loves to say "hold it, burp it" when he his holding him. This was his first time holding Max on New Years Day with his cousins Sammi, Brad and Dylan. What a funny little kid. We will see how much he still like Max in a few months when Max is getting into Kevin's things.
